I am an anthropologist specializing in archaeology and ethnohistory, with a primary research focus greater Spanish Florida. I am particularly interested in the impact of the European colonial era on indigenous chiefdoms of the Southeastern United States, and their response and adaptation over time in differing political and economic circumstances.
